Install the directory

This one-time installer creates the database tables, default categories and pages, and your first administrator account. It locks itself permanently after a successful install.

1. Server check

PHP 8.1 or newer (8.2+ recommended) — Current: 8.3.35
PDO MySQL extension
mbstring extension
fileinfo extension (upload checks)
GD extension (image resizing) — Without GD, uploads are validated but not resized.
cURL extension (optional image URL import, Turnstile)
OpenSSL extension
storage/ is writable
storage/logs is writable
storage/cache is writable
storage/sessions is writable
public/uploads is writable
.env file exists — Copy .env.example to .env and edit it.
APP_KEY is set (64 hex characters)
APP_URL is set

2. Website and administrator

Install key (INSTALL_KEY from .env)

Do not use “WhatsApp” as your brand name — it is a trademark of Meta.
